Role Description

This is a part-time remote role for a Private SAT/ACT Prep Instructor at Olive Tree Academy Tutors. As a Private SAT/ACT Prep Instructor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, one-on-one virtual instruction to students preparing for their SAT and/or ACT. You will be responsible for developing lesson plans, delivering interactive and engaging lessons, providing individualized feedback and support to students, and tracking student progress. This role requires excellent communication and teaching skills, as well as a strong knowledge of SAT/ACT test content and strategies. This is a great role for a highly skilled tutor working towards their degree and looking to make extra money on the side.

Qualifications

• Prior experience teaching or tutoring preferred

• Strong understanding of material content and strategies preferred

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required

• Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the individual needs of students

• Demonstrated ability to motivate and engage students

• Strong organizational and time management skills

• Familiarity with online teaching platforms and technology (Zoom or Google Meet)

• Availability to work flexible hours to accommodate student needs, including evenings and weekends

• Ownership of appropriate technology to perform interactive tutoring sessions preferred (i.e. iPad or drawing tablet)

Compensation

Tutors will be compensated on an hourly basis at a rate of $30/hour including all training sessions.
